Job Title: Depot Manager
Location: Lichfield
Pay Rates: £32,000-£33,000K
Shift Patterns: Day Shift – 08:30-17:30 or 09:00 -18:00
Oliver Rae is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Depot Manager to join a dynamic and growing business. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Job Duties
- Responsible for all team leaders, warehouse operatives & Van drivers.
- Daily management of the home delivery process.
- Daily management coaching and development of employees.
- Following all health and safety protocols.
- Providing support to the CHD Transport manager.
- Managing communication with service providers and stakeholders to ensure KPI targets are met.
- Preparation and participation in team meetings.
- Ensuring stock management and stock takes are recorded daily.
- Processing inbound returns accurately.
- Assisting with warehouse team PDC’s.
- Assisting with vehicle gatehouse checks.
- Assisting management with vehicle maintenance reporting and bookings.
Requirements
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- FLT – Counterbalance (desirable).
- Proven Depot manager experience.
- Strong leadership skills.
- CPC (desirable).
